The fit and finish of these is excellent. I got the multicam color. I noticed immediately they did not come close to real hearing protection. I was sad because I need these for the range and didn’t want to return them. After a few hours I decided to try and improve them vs returning them. The result was amazing and they are full ear pro now. I tore down a $15 pair of Howard light muffs and stole the foam inserts. Next I popped the gell ear cups (which are nice by the way) and foam under the cups and set aside. Then I carefully removed the speaker grill and set side without tugging on the connected wires. I was able to sandwich the sound deadening foam from the Howard lights between the circuit board and speaker grill. Then you place the ear cups back on. Last, you’ll need to cut the foam that came under the clear cups in the shape of an enlarged circle to pressure fit in the center of the ear cups. I used silicone grease to help waterproof them. Very pleased, coms are clear.
